Doward Park Campsite – Symonds Yat

Doward Park Campsite is a family orientated quiet campsite located in the Wye Valley near Symonds Yat, in-between the historic market town of Ross on Wye in Herefordshire and the tradition country town of Monmouth. Located just inside the England border next to the Forest of Dean and only half a mile from Wales with the border being the river.

The site is off the beaten track and is surrounded by beautiful woodland. With the Wye Valley being on the doorstep of the campsite, there are many interesting sites to see. The river and Symonds Yat are within walking distance, including the pubs along the river and the famous Symonds Yat rapids. Also a short stroll from the site you can be at King Arthurs Caves or the Seven Sisters Rocks.

Having visited Doward Park Campsite ourselves we felt very lucky to have found such a special gem in the Wye Valley, we especially enjoyed the stunning walks and dog friendly pubs nearby and additionally we had a brilliant time on our paddle boards in the river!
